Our home from home, quick December Winter sun trip to Marbella including Mijas and a hike up Benalmadena. This trip is all about relaxing and avoiding the usual tourist traps of Marbella and focuses on the warm weather and getting back to nature.

Just 20mins from Malaga Airport we stayed in a private home on Cala de Mijas. Take a walk to nearby Sitio de Calahonda for lovely coastal views and sunsets.
BENALMADENA

Fancy some breathtaking views over the top of Benalmadena then head on up to the top of Calamorro Mountain by taking a ride on the cable car. Not one for those who are afraid of heights, the cars run from just outside Tivoli World right up to the top of the mountain and cost around €15 per adult and take about 15mins to the top.
At the top of Calamorro mountain you can find many different walking routes.
