Soho Farmhouse Cowshed spa, The Bell Tents

Shweta

Soho Farmhouse is nearly always booked out, so when they launched their Bell Tents, we snapped up the chance to try the novelty from Soho Farmhouse Cowshed Spa. It’s technically glamping, but it upon arrival you still get to feel like you’re a King or Queen for the weekend. Cars are quietly squirrelled away as you are checked in and it’s straight onboard the milk float to your tent. We love Soho Farmhouse so this did not disappoint, novel but still glam and luxurious. If you don’t mind heading to the Cowshed Soho Farmhouse spa and gym to use the facilities this is the one for you! Sadly at times the service was slow in the main barn, but those who know and love the Soho House group, you know this can be an issue.

THE BELL TENTS

4/5

When we say tents, what we actually want you to think about carpeted canvas rooms, with log burners, cowhide rugs, floating hanging rails for your clothes and fluffy robes. Yes you have to go to the Spa to use the loo, but with your very own fire pit outside your tent and a little cabin a short walk away for tea making facilities, this is the perfect balance of being off the grid, but having the grid within reaching distance.

The bell tents might not be around long term (this was a trial by Soho Farmhouse) but at £100 per night its definitely worth a try! We ate at Pen Yen (the black cod is amazing) but more casual options are available at the Main Barn, Hay Barn or at the Little Bell at the Farmshack.

SOHO FARMHOUSE SPA

4.6/5

Wake up and head  straight over to the indoor pool. If the weather is good or if you’re feeling brave, give the outdoor pool a try (very good to shake off any hangovers gained from the barn the night before). If you’re feeling energetic the well equipped gym, with the classes such as yoga and spinning is open from 0630.

Wrap up in a robe and over to the Soho Farmhouse spa outdoor hot tubs (sounds obvious but make sure you turn this one otherwise you sit in lukewarm water!) and sauna. Shower off and smother yourself in the abundance of Cowshed Soho Farmhouse goodies available. This is all included in your stay, but if you fancy upgrading your trip then book a massage at the Cowshed Soho Farmhouse.

From the moment you walk in, the warm relaxing scents from the Cowshed candles put you at ease and of course the massages deliver in spades. Don’t rush off when you’re finished though, factor in time to enjoy a cuppa by the fire.

SOHO FARMHOUSE COWSHED SPA

If you want to continue with the outdoor activities jump on a bike and explore the grounds or try, clay pigeon shooting, a game of tennis on the outdoor courts or horse riding. Head to the Soho House shop… you will fall in love with everything!

Or just enjoy some R&R.
