Who knew Luton had such a fabulous Spa? The Luton Hoo Hotel, Spa and Golf Club is less than 1.5hrs from London, 1.5 miles from the M1 and 3.5 miles from Luton Airport, making it an easy option for a day at the Spa. We had the Afternoon Retreat package which, for £120 included a 55 minute treatment, afternoon tea and full use of the spa and leisure facilities. Great day out and value for money. Note: our visit was during Covid restrictions so do take that into account.

AFTERNOON RETREAT

Set in old stables of the The Country Club, the spa facilities are relaxing and welcoming. Therapists take the time to personalise your treatments and make sure you feel comfortable throughout. Surprisingly good afternoon tea, especially the cakes and scones, (we had ours boxed so we had the option to eat in the grounds should we want), but normally this is served in the Country Club Mansions House.

If I had more time… we would have explored the grounds more, but sadly rain stopped play.

If we had less time…you ideally need 4-5 hours to enjoy the facilities.
