THE GUGGENHEIM BILBAO

The Guggenheim in Bilbao is probably Bilbao’s most famous tourist attraction. If you like contemporary art, then this is a must, but worth swinging by anyways just to see the external sculptures. Dinner at nearby Restaurante Muggara.

Down by the bridge at Rio Nerving, offers good views of the city before heading for dinner at Gure Toki. Located in the Plaza Nueva, this award winning restaurant is home cooking with a twist.

Funicular de Artxanda

The funicular is a short ride up to Mount Artxanda, offering views of beautiful Bilbao.

SAN SEBASTIAN

San Sebastian is famed for its beaches framed by a picturesque bayfront promenade, and world-renowned restaurants helmed by innovative chefs. There are 18 Michelin stars within just a ten-minute drive! Casa Urola founded in the 1950s,  has hefty stone walls, hams hanging above the bar and a blackboard menu chalking up the day’s pintxos.

Final drive up to Bakio to get a view of Gaztelugatxe which is an islet on the coast of Biscay
